Innovative changes modernize local racing at BCMX to have racers spending more time riding than on their tailgates.

We've heard your frustrations.

• Sick of waiting around all day while we have watched our friends in the off-road world grow due to scheduling that gets racers to the track to spend more time riding than napping in the pits. Of course, you're still welcome to hang out with your buddies all day!

What it is -- Racing is split into two full race programs:

• MORNING Class Block:

125cc Classes and below plus Women

Sight lap at 8:30am followed by both motos set to finish around lunch time.

Awards available 30 minutes after 2nd moto results are posted for your class

• AFTERNOON Class Block:

All other big bike classes (excluding Women and 125cc Classes)

Sight lap at Noon followed by both motos.

Sign-up will remain open until the sight lap begins

An extensive amount of effort has gone into this revised format with goals to:

• Optimize the experience

• Reduce pit time -- Increase track time

• Mitigate scheduling conflicts
